# What is a Custom Neon® sign made from?

### What is a Custom Neon® sign made from?

Our neon lights, signs, art and lamps are made from high quality acrylic and LED neon making them different from traditional glass neon.

LED neon is:

- Made with PVC & acrylic;
- Powered by LED lights;
- Cased in flex rubber tubing or acrylic.

LED neon products are more ***cost-effective***, ***durable***, ***energy efficient***, and ***safer*** than glass neon products, while providing an incredible visual impact that is on par with, or even greater than, you get with a traditional glass neon sign.

Our LED neon signs, lights, wall art and lamps are:

1. Available in a wide range of colors and styles.
2. Available in a variety of on-trend quotes and aesthetic designs in our **[Store](https://customneon.com/signs-for-sale/)**.
3. Available as a personalized neon sign.
4. Available in your own design using our **[Custom Neon® sign maker](https://customneon.com/create-neon-sign/)**.
