### What is a Custom Neon® sign made from?
Our neon lights, signs, art and lamps are made from high quality acrylic and LED neon making them different from traditional glass neon.
LED neon is:
- Made with PVC & acrylic;
- Powered by LED lights;
- Cased in flex rubber tubing or acrylic.
LED neon products are more ***cost-effective***, ***durable***, ***energy efficient***, and ***safer*** than glass neon products, while providing an incredible visual impact that is on par with, or even greater than, what you get with a traditional glass neon sign.

### Are Custom Neon® signs safe?
Custom Neon signs are made with LED neon, sometimes referred to as faux neon. There is no glass in our light signs. The LED lighting will not overheat and makes the signs much more energy efficient than traditional glass neon signs. This is great for the budget and even greater for the planet. Custom Neon signs made from LED neon are more durable, easier to transport, and surprisingly lightweight.
